Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Ability to operate personal computer, cash register, and calculator
- Strong telephone and guest relations etiquette
- Excellent speech communication skills
- Excellent comprehension and literacy
- Moderate hearing ability
- Excellent vision
- Physical ability to stand for 90% of shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as required
- Capable of lifting files and office items up to 25 lbs
- Willingness to work in a climate-controlled indoor environment
Job Qualifications

- Accounting background preferred but not required
- Ability to operate personal computer, cash register, and calculator

- Excellent comprehension and literacy for reports and numbers
- Moderate hearing ability
- Excellent vision for CRT screen viewing
Job Duties
- Audit food and beverage outlets cash and credit operations including checks, over/short figures, deposits, counts, house charges, promotional materials, postings, etc.
- Auditing, balancing, posting and reporting on the front desk including room charges, phone calls, zero balance folios, corrections, adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over/short figures, deposits
- Audit and balance room information to provide management with performance data
- Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for daily report preparation
- Balance and close all bank ticket codes daily
- Run night audit final ensuring all revenues are balanced
- Greet and check-in arriving guests using manual and computerized systems
- Facilitate guest check-out following established procedures
- Maintain good customer relations by providing information about hotel and local area
- Operate PBX equipment to handle incoming calls, outgoing calls, wake-up calls, and paging
- Perform duties of Front Desk Clerk including express checkouts
