Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel night audit or front desk role
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work overnight shifts
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • capacity to perform basic math calculations
  • ability to conduct security procedures and safety compliance
  • willingness to participate in ongoing training and development

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • basic math and financial skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to multi-task and solve problems effectively
  • knowledge of hotel software and reservation systems is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and register guests
  • complete night audit reports
  • balance accounts including house accounts and credit cards
  • settle guest accounts upon check-out
  • register guests and manage reservations
  • provide hotel operator and concierge services
  • conduct security walks
  • handle and resolve guest complaints professionally
  • set up lobby coffee service and breakfast when applicable
  • communicate effectively using shift logs and reports
  • operate phone and basic office equipment
  • maintain key control including issuing and receiving room keys
  • process and manage lost and found items
  • assist in training new staff
  • promote and sell rooms using persuasive techniques
  • ensure compliance with safety and security policies
  • work with other departments to maintain accurate room status and timely repairs
