Job Requirements

  • Open availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds
  • Must have the ability to bend, lift, kneel, and be in motion for the full day
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company associates
  • Serves as Manager On Duty when required
  • Works in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations
  • Informs immediate supervisor promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner
  • Advanced working knowledge of property management software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Working knowledge of switchboard and telephone etiquette
  • Projects a favorable image of the Hotel to the public
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, organizational and guest service skills required
  • Advanced working knowledge of property management software systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Working knowledge of switchboard and telephone etiquette
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with co-workers
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred

Job Duties

  • Participates in the prompt and courteous check in and checkout of guests
  • Provide gracious and efficient telephone service as it relates to general PBX calls
  • Calls should be answered promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services, facilities and programs of the hotel and effectively assists the hotel’s guests
  • Responds to guests’ requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously
  • Communicates effectively
  • Arranges fulfillment of guest services by working with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage where applicable
