Job Duties

  • Conduct nightly audit-related duties
  • provide guest service at the front desk
  • balance duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports
  • attend to guest needs such as check-in/check-outs, making reservations, and answering questions
  • count and maintain accuracy of issued cash drawer
  • check the front desk log for problems and special requests
  • greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
  • process guest registrations including collecting payment
  • prepare express checkout folios
  • maintain room status inventory
  • communicate shift information to management and desk staff
  • maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom
  • ensure smooth shift transitions
  • work closely with all hotel departments
  • answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local information
  • complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports
  • perform other duties as assigned
