Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1+ years of hotel experience
  • 1+ years accounting-related experience desirable
  • Able to work overnight shift from 11pm to 7am
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle customer service issues professionally
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to compile mathematical data
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to wear uniform and safety shoes
  • Able to work in a team
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Able to follow company policies
  • Complete required training annually

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a hotel environment
  • 1+ years in an accounting-related position highly desirable
  • Solid working knowledge of company and brand policies and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with front desk computer systems
  • Excellent command of English
  • Second language proficiency desirable
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain customer focus
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to follow corporate standards and procedures

Job Duties

  • Audit, balance and report on all cash and credit transactions including checks, deposits, counts, house charges, promotional materials, postings
  • Reset all registers daily
  • Balance and close all bank ticket codes daily
  • Audit, balance and prepare reports on room information for management
  • Complete front desk activities related to guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Respond to customer concerns and resolve complaints
  • Deliver express check-out documents
  • Maintain complimentary food and beverage station
  • Assist with breakfast set-up
  • Enter reservation calls accurately
  • Complete logs and reports as specified
  • Arrange alternative lodging when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
