Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data
  • Must be willing to cross train in other accounting or hotel-related areas
  • Must be able to prioritize job functions in order to meet deadlines
  • Flexible to work late or overnight shifts
  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • Guest service experience preferred
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and show initiative

Job Duties

  • Audit and reconcile all hotel cashier transactions
  • Review, organize and compile management reports on a timely basis
  • Ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions
  • Perform guest service agent duties including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations
  • Prepare and distribute necessary daily and month-end financial and operational reports
  • Input and update financial information into corporate communication networks
  • Communicate any unusual operational or financial events to management
  • Respond to governmental inquiries and handle guest requests
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
