Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of related experience preferred
- associates degree in hospitality, accounting, business, or related field preferred
- proficiency with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office
- experience with customer service and reservation software preferred
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- strong interpersonal skills
- availability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical capability to perform job duties including lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally
- willingness to comply with wearing personal protective equipment
- strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related experience preferred
- an associate's degree in hospitality, accounting, business, or related field preferred
- office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and general knowledge of Microsoft Office
- experience using customer service and reservation software preferred
- ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- ability to interact with customers and team members professionally
- ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to operate a personal computer
- physical ability to perform tasks including walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, sitting, and moving freely throughout the office and property for scheduled shift
Job Duties
- Audit and run hotel revenue reports and guest records
- prepare system for the following day's operations
- post and balance charges, taxes, and settlements for the hotel
- maintain related files, records, and systems
- prepare and distribute revenue and audit reports to management and accounting department
- acknowledge and greet guests with a smile to establish rapport and increase guest confidence and satisfaction
- register and make room assignments for hotel guests
- check guests in and out
- issue room keys
- enter reservations, changes, and cancelations using computer system
- process guest payments and prepare and present statements to guests
- resolve and correct billing issues and post charges to accounts with necessary adjustments
- manage guest inquiries, special requests, concerns, and issues in a timely manner that reaches a positive and satisfactory resolution for the guest
- escalate difficult customer relations situations to the supervisor or manager as needed
- monitor room availability and coordinate with the Call Center and Player Development to maximize hotel occupancy
- act as a resource to guests and team members by maintaining thorough knowledge of the facility, special events, promotions, and other amenities
- perform job duties in full compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
