Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in hotel front desk or night audit roles
  • strong computer literacy with hotel management software
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • ability to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong mathematical skills
  • attention to detail

  • proficient in accomplishing all assigned tasks
  • considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations and backup systems
  • above average mathematical comprehension
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers
  • ability to exercise patience, tact and diplomacy
  • comparable hotel size and scope of experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Assume the position of the manager on duty
  • update all files and reset the system for the following day activity
  • welcome guests to the hotel and perform the check-in process
  • thank guests and perform the check-out process
  • answer all incoming and in-house phone calls
  • assist callers with making and/or changing reservations
  • assist all guests as necessary to ensure a positive experience
  • perform routine daily tasks
  • ability to work while standing for extended periods of time
