Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of progressive experience in hotel or related field
- computer knowledge and skills
- flexible to work long and overnight shifts
- able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
- maintain warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- maintain regular attendance
- adhere to personal appearance and grooming standards including uniform
- comply with hotel standards and regulations
- effective problem handling and solution implementation

Job Qualifications

- guest service experience preferred

Job Duties
- Audit and reconcile all hotel cashier transactions
- review, organize and compile management reports on a timely basis
- ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions
- perform guest service agent duties including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations
- prepare and distribute daily operating and tax reports
- audit and reconcile front desk and food and beverage cashier work
- consolidate and transmit credit card transactions timely
- input and update financial information into corporate communication networks
- perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual data processing functions
- communicate concerns or issues to all levels of management
- handle guest requests and respond to governmental inquiries
- prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
- ensure overall guest satisfaction
- maintain confidentiality of information
- cross-train in other accounting or hotel-related areas
