Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- three months of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
- ability to work overnight shifts
- proficiency with basic bookkeeping and accounting tools
- strong numerical aptitude
- customer service orientation
- ability to stand for extended periods
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- minimum of three months experience in bookkeeping, auditing, or general accounting
- understanding of basic accounting principles including accounts receivable reconciliation
- knowledge of guest folio charges
- strong attention to detail
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask and handle diverse responsibilities during night shift
Job Duties
- verify and balance entries and records of financial transactions reported by various hotel departments
- reconcile daily cash receipts and summary sheets of all hotel departments
- use adding, bookkeeping, and calculating machines to ensure accuracy
- occasionally work front desk welcoming guests and assisting as needed
- serve as Manager on Duty overseeing all Front Office operations when Front Office Manager is not present
- maintain accuracy in guest folio charges
- provide outstanding guest service during night hours
