Job Requirements

  • ability to satisfactorily communicate in english including speak read and write with guests co-workers and management
  • ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail speed accuracy follow-through courtesy cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision
  • ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculations
  • ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
  • ability to effectively deal with guests requiring high levels of patience tact and diplomacy to defuse anger
  • ability to work well under pressure handling multiple tasks at once especially during guest check-in and check-out
  • punctuality regular and reliable attendance
  • strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with co-workers and the public

Job Qualifications

  • one to two years of hotel experience preferably in night audit
  • understanding all aspects of front desk and guest services
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • great communication and interpersonal skills
  • motivation to deliver outstanding customer service

Job Duties

  • balance all revenue and expense transactions during the day at the hotel
  • balance the guest ledger on a daily basis
  • complete necessary reports
  • check guests in and out during overnight shifts
  • reconcile accounts accurately
  • respond to guest complaints and inquiries professionally
  • set up breakfast service in the morning
  • take initiative on necessary tasks during the shift
