Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- college coursework in related field helpful
- previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly to move objects
- quick and accurate decision-making
- ability to work well under stressful, high pressure situations
- effective at handling workplace problems including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving issues
- ability to assimilate complex information and adjust to meet needs
- self-managed work capability
- problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve guest issues
- proficiency in Windows operating systems, company approved spreadsheets and word processing
- effective listening, understanding and clarifying skills
- ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- college coursework in related field helpful

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper uniform and name tag
- comply at all times with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards and regulations
- maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- initiate and complete the End of Day process
- run all reports as required for Food and Beverage audit
- complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily
- balance the day's work including movie revenue, telephone postings, valet laundry, server's and desk agent's paperwork
- maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures
- maintain Front Office computer system operation
- fulfill all Front Office functions between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am
- handle and follow through on all guest requests during the shift
- follow safety and emergency procedures
- maintain proper record keeping including log books
- be familiar with all company policies and house rules
- complete initial direct bills daily and place on the Controller's desk
- maintain radio contact with Security and other employees
- have working knowledge of security procedures
- prepare and distribute the Daily Flash Report
- transfer master or house accounts as necessary
- ensure employees remain attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous
- maintain compliance with all company policies
- perform related duties as assigned by management
