Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
- 1-2 years GSR Front Desk Agent experience
- Ability to compute basic arithmetic

- Knowledge of property management systems such as LMS and Micros
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with Lotus Notes and other relevant software platforms
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage financial transactions accurately
Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, standards
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services, hours of operation, room types, numbers, layout, rates, packages, promotions, daily house count, arrivals/departures, room availability, group activities
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- Pick up, count and maintain bank and secure bank at all times
- Read the log book, emails, daily and record/respond to pertinent information
- Process payments to all guest accounts
- Process adjustments, rebates, paid outs, and credits as required
- Operate Property Management System LMS and maintain security
- Verify tickets are closed against folios and log any open tickets in the point of sales Micros system
- Run audit for comp accounting for entire property
- Audit room cashier’s work and correct discrepancies
- Audit miscellaneous outlet charges/postings/tickets
- Verify package postings on package folios
- Run room and tax validations
- Verify cashier’s report to drop log and paperwork
- Record room statistics with reports in LMS
- Close PMS after work is balanced
- Run end of day program and close day
- Check that interfaces are operational
- Run daily flash reports and distribute
- Run morning and backup reports and distribute
- Sign out and brief next shift
- Review night audit checklist and verify all work is completed
