Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years related experience in front desk or night audit roles
  • proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and hotel software
  • hospitality oriented with good communication
  • ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • able to maintain confidentiality
  • professionalism and discretion
  • willingness to travel occasionally
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow company safety and security procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED required
  • college degree preferred
  • 1+ years previous front desk or night audit experience
  • advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and hotel management software (OPERA preferred)
  • hospitality oriented with ability to work under pressure
  • strong multitasking and professional communication skills
  • ability to sustain composure and a positive attitude
  • excellent customer service skills
  • team player able to work under minimal supervision
  • basic arithmetic and data entry skills
  • ability to read, write, and understand English
  • confidentiality and discretion
  • bilingual fluency a plus

Job Duties

  • register guests and make or modify reservations
  • assist with hotel operator and concierge duties
  • maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, room types, rates, promotions, and daily occupancy
  • acknowledge and promptly respond to guest needs
  • process guest check-in including verifying reservations and generating registration cards
  • maintain guest history files and accurate accounts
  • file registration cards and vouchers
  • assist overbooked or walked guests
  • provide room change accommodations
  • document and resolve guest complaints
  • maintain organized and clean work area
  • manage assigned bank and ensure accuracy
  • communicate with prior shift to review follow-ups
  • answer department telephone and process end of day reports
