Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in a hospitality or similar environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and Sundays, Mondays and holidays
  • Strong accounting principles and attention to detail, with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent time management and self-supervision skills, ensuring tasks are completed on time and accurately
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Additional education or training in accounting or hospitality is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook preferred

Job Duties

  • Balance and reconcile all daily financial transactions, including guest accounts, food and beverage outlets, and front office accounts
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Process guest payments and ensure proper credit card and key control procedures are followed
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service
  • Respond to guest requests such as wake-up calls and express check-out bills
  • Maintain accurate and confidential guest records, adhering to all data security protocols
  • Provide accounting support to the hotel, ensuring accurate revenue posting and daily guest ledger reconciliation
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient guest service
  • Follow all established policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure work environment
