Job Requirements

- Relevant experience in hotel or related field
- Ability to work night/overnight shifts

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Guest service experience preferred
- Computer knowledge and skills required
- Flexibility to work long and late/overnight hours
- Sedentary work involving exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
- Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of employees and guests
- Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Attend all hotel required meetings and training
- Comply with hotel standards and regulations
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming

Job Duties
- Work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions
- Be willing to cross train in other accounting or hotel-related areas
- Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
- Perform guest services functions as required, including check guests in/out, take reservations, and wake-up calls
- Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports
- Prepare and distribute daily reports such as Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, Tax Reports according to hotel standards
- Prepare and distribute month-end reports
- Audit and reconcile all Front Desk and Food & Beverage cashier work
- Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards timely
- Ensure accuracy of all numbers reported including statistics
- Input and update financial information into corporate communications network
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required
- Keep management informed of unusual operational or financial events and policy deviations
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Respond to governmental inquiries
- Handle guest requests
- Perform other duties as requested by management
