Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in a hospitality or similar environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays and Sundays Mondays and holidays
  • Strong accounting principles and attention to detail with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent time management and self-supervision skills ensuring tasks are completed on time and accurately
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook preferred

Job Duties

  • Balance and reconcile all daily financial transactions including guest accounts food and beverage outlets and front office accounts
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Process guest payments and ensure proper credit card and key control procedures are followed
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally providing exceptional customer service
  • Respond to guest requests such as wake-up calls and express check-out bills
  • Maintain accurate and confidential guest records adhering to all data security protocols
  • Provide accounting support to the hotel ensuring accurate revenue posting and daily guest ledger reconciliation
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient guest service
  • Follow all established policies and procedures maintaining a safe and secure work environment
