Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Familiarity with hotel front desk operations and procedures
  • Knowledge of emergency and safety protocols
  • Proficiency with property management systems
  • Adherence to company policies and appearance standards
  • Valid certification if applicable for alcohol service
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy and discretion
  • Must follow all company work rules and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of property management systems and accounting procedures
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Proficient in English with clear reading and writing abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively during night shifts
  • Familiarity with hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures
  • Basic computer skills and experience with standard office software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.

Job Duties

  • Represent the hotel to the guest through sales and customer service functions related to registrations, reservations, and revenue collections
  • Act as Manager on Duty and respond promptly to guest requests during late evening and early morning hours
  • Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times anticipating and exceeding their needs
  • Greet and register guests, provide room assignments, and accommodate special requests
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain hotel safety and security during the night shift
  • Communicate effectively with management staff and other departments regarding guest needs, special requests, and unusual occurrences
  • Prepare and maintain various operational and security reports
  • Use property management and accounting systems to post charges, process payments, and balance revenue
  • Attend to special guest service requests including securing valuables and delivering amenities
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderly public and business areas
  • Promote repeat business by taking future reservations and providing sales leads to the sales department
  • Follow approved safety, appearance, and operational procedures at all times.
