Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hospitality preferred
  • experience in front desk or customer service role preferred
  • accounting experience preferred
  • ability to speak read write and understand the primary workplace language
  • good communication skills
  • basic computer and computational skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • ability to push and pull equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
  • must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance
  • regular attendance and punctuality required
  • compliance with company safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • experience in front desk or customer service role preferred
  • accounting experience preferred
  • good communication skills
  • basic computer skills
  • knowledge of math and computer programs
  • leadership and customer relations skills
  • detail oriented with organizational skills
  • ability to deal with difficult customers calmly
  • knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, key system, POS
  • self-driven and able to work independently
  • strong issue resolution and analytical skills

Job Duties

  • Act as the manager on duty during nighttime hours
  • greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • perform guest registration and checkout procedures
  • accept payment for guests accounts and maintain a house bank
  • handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • acknowledge rewards members and returning guests
  • take and manage guest bookings and upsell hotel services
  • perform all daily audit procedures and complete required reports
  • balance all cash receipts and make deposits
  • prepare the front office for morning shift and reset business
  • maintain nightly reports and communicate overnight activities
  • operate PBX and manage wake up calls
  • assist guests and emergency personnel as necessary
  • post charges and make reservations for guests
  • review arrival reports and ensure room assignments
  • attend training and meetings
  • ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and security protocols
  • maintain knowledge of hotel services and local attractions
  • assist with mail and guest items
  • perform all other duties assigned by supervisors
