Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service experience preferred
  • proficiency in ice skating
  • ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • ability to withstand cold weather
  • ability to stand or sit for long periods
  • strong communication skills in English
  • physical presence at the job site is essential
  • ability to move constantly within a changing environment

Job Duties

  • Maintain control of the ice and ensure all guests follow safety instructions, flow of skaters, and rules
  • Assist guests with transporting and storing recreation equipment
  • Answer questions regarding skate activities, directions, concerns, or preferences
  • Assist guests with any First Aid or emergencies on the ice or surrounding area
  • Keep records of all guest recreation equipment and maintain the log book
  • Ensure a clean and safe area for guests following established procedures
  • Resolve minor guest concerns
  • Perform other assigned duties
