Job Qualifications
- valid Washington state driver's license
- automobile insurance
- reliable transportation
- strong time management skills
- customer service experience preferred
- ability to work independently
- flexibility to work early morning hours
- previous delivery or driving experience advantageous
Job Duties
- deliver newspapers to customers seven days a week rain or shine
- pick up newspapers between 1 AM and 3 AM
- ensure newspapers are delivered to subscribers before 5:30 AM on weekdays and before 7:00 AM on weekends
- maintain reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- manage route scheduling and subcontractors if needed
- provide excellent customer service to encourage tips
- comply with contractual obligations for timely and consistent delivery
