Job Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass background and security checks
- Must meet United Airlines height and reach requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work on-call reserve status
- Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX for training
- Must be able to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior flight attendant experience required
- Ability to complete 6.5 weeks of paid training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure the safety of passengers during flights
- Provide warm and compassionate passenger assistance
- Collaborate with pilots and crew in a team environment
- Execute service recovery to resolve passenger issues
- Maintain flexibility for reserve and on-call scheduling
- Adhere to all safety and emergency procedures
- Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service
