Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- associate degree preferred
- minimum 2 years sales or relevant experience
- experience with Salesforce and/or CRM preferred
- knowledge of Medicare insurance
- healthcare industry experience preferred
- strong passion for patient service
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work evenings and weekends occasionally
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- knowledge of HIPAA and patient information confidentiality
- ability to use medical record software
- ability to conduct presentations

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- associate degree preferred
- 2 years sales or relevant experience
- healthcare industry experience a plus
- Salesforce and/or CRM experience desired
- experience in a medical or primary care office ideal
- knowledge of Medicare insurance preferred
- passion for patient service
- high drive to achieve sales results
- knowledge of healthcare field, specifically Medicare and Medicare Advantage
- understanding of legal and ethical considerations related to patient information
- knowledge of customer service principles, applications, and conflict resolution
- skill in medical record systems and meeting clinic standards
- skill in diffusing tense situations diplomatically
- proficiency in computer, medical records software, and CRM tools
- skill in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook
- skill in public speaking and presenting

Job Duties
- Be an expert of The Villages Health brand, care model and the new patient experience
- represent The Villages Health at community events to attract new patients where and when needed
- follow up on warm leads generated by the marketing department, community outreach team members, call center, and walk-ins
- drive agent partner awareness of TVH services through the effective use of marketing collateral, email, phone, and face-to-face communications
- identify issues and opportunities and provide strategic guidance to agent partners to drive adoption and utilization of TVH services to prospective members
- obtain and leverage agent partner feedback to improve the overall agent experience with TVH
- participate in outreach and sales events for lead generation
- develop, implement, and measure objectives and successes to show activities, results, and planned activities
- meet potential new patients at care centers, give tours and explain the benefits of becoming a TVH patient
- build relationships with insurance agent partners to increase sales
- educate potential new patients about The Villages Health experience, accepted insurances, and new patient process
- answer new patient questions and determine the best next steps
- verify insurance accurately
- assist new patients in scheduling appointments
- proactively secure sales leads throughout the year
- send direct mail and greeting cards to ensure a positive experience
- track and report new patient activities in CRM
- monitor patient lists and conduct retention efforts
- identify patients eligible for Medicare special enrollment periods
- support colleagues and participate in meetings
- maintain compliance with HIPAA
- report to Manager, Sales and Community Outreach
- maintain patient interactions on CRM
