Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- able to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping such as lifting bending and standing for long periods
- reliable and punctual
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience an advantage
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to handle physical work required in housekeeping
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Duties
- clean and service assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner following procedures and hotel standards
- keep an organized linen cart that is neat well stocked and organized
- report any areas within guest rooms that need attention such as fixtures door locks televisions HVAC
- maintain security of equipment key and supplies issued
- report lost and found articles to supervisor
- respond to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner
- ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness and quality standards
