Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge
- current BLS certification
- current C.N.A. license in state of practice as required
- completion of unit-approved ECG or EEG course or on the job training with passing score for certain departments
- skills and abilities typically attained with 1 year of medical clerical experience preferably in a hospital or physician office
- excellent organizational skills
- effective human relations and communication skills
- working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy

- preferred additional related education or experience
Job Duties
- Provide hands-on patient care to promote comfort and recovery
- assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and nutritional intake
- monitor and document vital signs and patient data accurately
- support nurses and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless patient care
- perform delegated medical procedures such as blood draws, foley catheter removal, EKGs, and monitoring under supervision
- maintain patient records including admission, transfer, discharge information, progress notes, and consent forms
- assist with transportation of patients and participate in department operational tasks to support efficiency
