We specialize in local, home-daily routes within a 50-mile radius of Charlotte, making it convenient for drivers to maintain a balanced lifestyle with daily returns home. Our hiring focus is on individuals who are new to the transportation industry and possess a certificate from a truck driving school. Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Possession of Class A CDL or certificate from truck driving school
- No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years such as speeding 15 mph over limit, reckless driving, improper lane changes, or violations involving fatal accidents
- No more than one speeding ticket in the last 3 years
- No at-fault accidents within the previous 3 years
- Willingness to work local routes within 50 miles of Charlotte
- Ability to complete mandatory 4-week paid onboarding training program
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or certificate from an accredited truck driving school
- Ability to pass background checks and maintain a clean driving record
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatch and team members
- Willingness to participate in a structured onboarding and mentoring program
- Physical ability to handle job-related tasks and requirements
Job Duties
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently according to company routes and schedules
- Complete all required logs, reports, and documentation accurately
- Follow safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and issues
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to traffic laws and driving best practices
- Participate in required training and mentoring programs
