Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary certification or equivalent combination of culinary training and experience
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial foodservice
  • experience in food preparation and equipment
  • ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
  • ability to work extended hours or rotating schedules
  • ability to safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
  • ability to frequently stand and walk
  • ability to occasionally reach, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push, pull, pinch, perform fine motor movements, and shoulder circumduction
  • ability to frequently be exposed to heat and occasionally to wet, cold, ambient temperatures and loud noise
  • ability to demonstrate lifting up to 80 lbs and manage heavier weights with team assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary certification or equivalent culinary training or work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial foodservice
  • experience in food preparation and equipment

  • understanding of nutritional values and ingredients

  • planning and organizing skills
  • culinary math skills for recipe conversion
  • ability to execute high-volume production

Job Duties

  • Cut, slice, dice, chop food for recipe preparation
  • prepackage condiments (sauces, dressings) for prepared food items
  • complete tasks at assigned work station
  • assist in multiple cooking venues
  • assist in technical areas and with catering orders as needed
  • master recipe preparation including daily production to account for raw material variations and customer demand
  • prepare, package, and plate fresh product
  • perform other duties as assigned
