Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- One or more years of experience in customer service
- Experience in restaurant POS systems preferred
- Completion of Alcohol Seller Training and Cash Handling training upon hire
- Ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
- Capability to work extended hours and/or rotating schedules
- Ability to safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach at waist, grasp, and be exposed to fumes, wet, cold, and occasionally heat and loud noise
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and manage in excess of 50 lbs
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, climbing stairs, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms, pinch, perform fine motor movements, shoulder circumduction
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems such as NCR, Aloha, Nirvana
- Advanced customer service and communication skills
- Working understanding of nutrition values and ingredients
- Organization and planning skills
- Computer skills
- Reading and writing skills
- Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve problems effectively
- Ability to maintain a smile while balancing multiple priorities
Job Duties
- Builds strong relationships with customers in varying situations
- Takes orders from customers
- assists with menu and beverage selections, including alcoholic beverages
- Provides detailed information on menu items and specials, and beer and wine
- Serves food, drink, and products to guests
- Processes cash, check, debit, and credit transactions accurately and quickly
- Uses suggestive selling techniques and merchandises effectively to meet guest needs and build department sales
