Job Requirements
- Certified nursing assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health preferred
- Must register as a nurse assistant within three months of employment if not certified
- BLS certification required within 3 months after hire
- Ability to work day and evening shift rotations
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to perform clerical tasks accurately
- Must have good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire
- Experience or training in hospital or clinic setting as health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist preferred
- Ability to perform clerical and reception duties efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to notify caregivers promptly about patient status changes
Job Duties
- Plan and organize non-nursing functions of assigned unit to facilitate workflow and enhance productivity
- Provide customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff
- Perform clerical and reception duties, including requisitioning supplies and equipment
- Assist with scheduling and unit coordination
- Monitor telemetry and notify patient caregivers of any changes when indicated
- Promote efficient unit function and support indirect resident care
- Perform other duties as assigned
