Job Requirements

  • certified nursing assistant through north dakota department of health preferred
  • if no cna, must be registered as nurse assistant through north dakota department of health within three months of date of employment
  • basic life support certification required within three months after hire
  • ability to observe telemetry monitor and notify caregiver of changes
  • strong customer service skills
  • good organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • experience or training in hospital or clinic setting as health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist
  • certified nursing assistant through North Dakota Department of Health preferred
  • registered as nurse assistant through North Dakota Department of Health within three months of employment if no CNA
  • basic life support (BLS) certification required within three months after hire

Job Duties

  • plan and organize non-nursing functions of assigned units to facilitate workflow
  • perform clerical and reception duties
  • requisition supplies, equipment, and services as directed
  • assist with scheduling
  • observe telemetry monitor when required and notify patient’s caregiver of any changes
  • provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff
  • support efficient unit function and indirect resident care
