Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in airline operations, central load planning, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree or additional two years relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented with strong process interpretation skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and simply
  • Willingness to challenge assumptions and improve processes
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10 percent of work hours
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age 18
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in airline operations or related fields
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex processes
  • Experience in technical writing or training preferred
  • Knowledge of Alaska Airlines policies and procedures preferred

Job Duties

  • Research, develop, document, and implement policies and procedures applicable to load planning and network operations support
  • Develop solutions to training program requirements and create training materials
  • Maintain and update Customer Service Manual, NOC Manual, and other divisional documents
  • Analyze the effectiveness of policies and recommend changes
  • Facilitate safety risk assessments and implement changes driven by Safety Management System
  • Provide policy interpretation support to frontline operations and leadership
  • Act as subject matter expert for System Operations Control and Airport Operations & Customer Service
  • Facilitate meetings and assist with Network Operations Center product implementations
