Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years progressive food and beverage management experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate work effectively
  • Knowledge of financial reports and labor management
  • Ability to enforce hotel standards, policies, and procedures
  • Flexibility with work schedule
  • Ability to conduct and deliver training
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people
  • 4 years or more of progressive food and beverage management experience

Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
  • Provide exceptional service and ensure guest satisfaction with dining experiences
  • Manage a team of food and beverage professionals, ensuring brand standards and required sequence of service components are executed precisely
  • Build, maintain, and adjust restaurant reservation blocks according to business levels to maximize revenue potential
  • Interview, hire, and onboard all new associates
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and attend division and hotel meetings
  • Monitor staff performance and assign work according to departmental procedures
  • Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of the restaurant environment and supplies
  • Manage guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Oversee payroll, tip distribution, and accounting procedures
  • Conduct formal training programs and foster a cooperative working climate
  • Contribute to the outlet financial success by analyzing profit and loss statements
  • Create marketing plans and programming initiatives
  • Exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner
  • Maintain knowledge of current bar and cocktail trends
