Job Duties
- Ensure accuracy on daily PantryTrak report, services log, poundage and gather vital client data essential for monthly reports
- lead PantryTrak client card distribution for pantry access
- implement software for client facing programs by FANO
- conduct client intake, determine eligibility and annually re-certify clients for food assistance
- manage general pantry inventory with FIFO practice and quality assurance
- lead distribution of TEFAP audit products with proper documentation
- record daily total weight distributed in CERES
- order pantry products through agency Express maintaining good inventory
- keep accurate record of Amazon pilot program products distribution
- update cooler and freezer temperature logs daily
- compile, analyze and present client data to forecast needs and develop food insecurity strategies
- train and manage Apple Corps and pantry volunteers on customer service
- facilitate Apple Corps pantry volunteers' Civil Rights training ensuring TEFAP compliance
- obtain forklift certification and operate forklift and pallet jack as necessary
- work towards strategic plan goals enhancing access to food services
- cultivate positive relationships with program participants, partners, agencies and volunteers
- assist community partners in assessing and improving access to nutritious food
- enhance cooperation between local agencies and improve services
- represent New Braunfels Food Bank at meetings
- answer questions about NBFB and federal programs confidently
- maintain assigned goals
- work necessary hours including after 5 p.m. and weekends
- perform other duties as assigned
