Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- No experience required
- Must be able to perform moderate physical effort including moving furniture and operating cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Availability for part-time work hours
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications such as NHG housekeeping certification
- May require a valid state driver’s license
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning protocols
- Good communication and guest service skills
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving furniture
- Ability to obtain NHG housekeeping certification within 6 months
- Valid driver’s license may be required
Job Duties
- Cleans guest rooms and other assigned areas
- Operates cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, waxer, and polisher
- Empties wastebaskets, dusts, waxes, and polishes room furniture
- Cleans bathrooms, kitchen areas, and disinfects dishes, utensils and cookware
- Changes and replaces bed linens, inspects mattresses and pull-out sofas
- Greets and welcomes guests, maintaining outstanding guest relations
- Ensures privacy and security of guests
- Cleans corridors, stairways, guest laundry, patios, and balconies
- Performs deep cleaning including carpet shampooing and spot treatment
- Maintains cleanliness and order of storage rooms
- Reports room status and completes daily assignments
- Performs minor equipment repairs and reports major issues
- Loads and unloads supplies and assists with merchandise handling
- Manages pass keys and returns keys at the end of shifts
- Reports lost and found items to supervisor
- Assists with setup and cleanup of breakfast bar
- Completes safety and security training
- Performs laundry operations
- May travel to other lodging facilities as required
