Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing fundraising events
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- experience with donor management software preferably Raiser’s Edge
- ability to work independently and take initiative
- effective communication skills
- strong organization and attention to detail
- ability to work evenings and weekends
- availability to travel regionally up to 20%
- flexibility to work hybrid or remote depending on location
- willingness to commute to regional office as needed

Job Qualifications
- At least 2-4 years of experience managing fundraising events
- demonstrated ability to independently project manage multiple events simultaneously
- experience managing stakeholders across projects and events
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor software preferably Raiser’s Edge
- ability to work independently with a remote manager
- effective written and oral communication skills
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- exposure to working with individual donors
- familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Jira
- experience collaborating with Communications or Marketing teams
- knowledge of LGBTQ and philanthropic communities
Job Duties
- Developing budgets and timelines for events
- devising solicitation strategies
- negotiating vendor contracts
- organizing site visits
- volunteer coordination
- designing and producing event promotional materials
- maintaining guest lists, ticketing, and seating
- anticipating and resolving operational challenges
- managing 3-4 ticketed events and supporting 5 non-ticketed events
- partnering with Major Gifts Officers, volunteer committees, and sponsors
- managing online event materials and email correspondence
- tracking backend operations including setting up and managing events in Raiser’s Edge
- processing invoices and income reconciliation
- managing email calendar and collaborating with Marketing and Digital staff
- designing event collateral and promotional materials
- providing administrative support including executing mailings, fulfilling invitations, and completing check requests
- leveraging data to optimize event logistics and workflows
- coordinating with multiple vendors, venues, and stakeholders
