Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Passion for culinary arts and delighting guests
- Culinary education degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to demonstrate proficient knife skills
- Understanding of culinary terminology and techniques
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings and late nights
- Speed and accuracy in food preparation
- Ability to work well under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the culinary field focusing on high volume production
- Culinary education degree or equivalent experience if less than 2 years
- Proficient knife skills
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced team environment
- Speed, accuracy, and efficiency under pressure
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
- Collaborate with kitchen team to meet high volume production demands
- Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Adapt to production requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Support special event and banquet meal preparations
