Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field for those without a culinary education degree
- Culinary education degree or equivalent experience required if less than 2 years of experience
- Must possess proficient knife skills
- Must demonstrate knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced kitchen environment
- Must be able to work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume production
- Culinary education degree or equivalent experience required if less than 2 years of culinary experience
- Proficient knife skills
- Proven knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Proven ability to read and understand recipes
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Passion for culinary arts and delighting guests with food
- Vocational school training or high school certification preferred
- Culinary education degree, certification from CIA, or equivalent preferred
- Basic wine knowledge preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Napa Rose standards
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet high-volume production demands
- Maintain inventory and cleanliness in the work area
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Assist in training new culinary team members
- Adapt to varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
