Job Requirements
- Must provide a copy of college transcripts showing degree awarded or conferred when applying
- A degree in Business Administration or Food and Beverage Management or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel to other facilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in a supervisory capacity in food and beverage service
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
Job Qualifications
- A four-year degree in Food and Beverage Management or Business Administration or equivalent experience
- At least one year of specialized experience managing food and beverage operations including programming, marketing, catering and banquet operations
- Detailed knowledge of food and beverage service goals, principles and techniques
- Experience in personnel management and advertising
- Extensive supervisory experience in food and beverage operations
- Strong background in budgeting, financial management, and planning
- Ability to communicate, negotiate and maintain positive working relationships
Job Duties
- Oversee food and beverage operations including cost and sales analysis to determine profit or loss status
- Manage staffing and labor costs to ensure efficient operation
- Coordinate programming, marketing, and advertising initiatives for the facility
- Supervise the planning and execution of special events within the food and beverage facilities
- Analyze financial performance including budgeting and cost control
- Maintain excellent personnel relations with management, command officials, and staff
- Travel to other facilities to evaluate services and provide recommendations
