Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in executive chef or senior culinary management roles
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage large-scale food service operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of club management functions such as planning, scheduling and coordinating dining services
  • Understanding of food pricing, dietetics, food grades and meal planning
  • Ability to apply new methods in food, bar and beverage service
  • Knowledge of general cooking and baking for large groups
  • Experience in supervising and training food service personnel
  • Ability to inspect food service facilities and equipment
  • Skill in preparing operational records and reports

Job Duties

  • Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate the Club's catering, casual dining, quick serve dining and Golf Course Restaurant operations
  • Execute all food production for a $4.5M operation
  • Supervise and train personnel in food preparation and service
  • Inspect facilities for cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Manage storeroom, laundry and bakery operations
  • Prepare pertinent records and reports
  • Review menus, pricing and services of nearby establishments and recommend corrective actions
