Job Duties
- Prepare food for in-house facilities and catering events
- Apply methods and procedures for cooking limited variety of foods
- Read and understand food service materials such as food labels and recipes
- Perform basic arithmetic computations for ingredient quantities and servings
- Plan and coordinate timing of meal preparation
- Monitor characteristics of foods including color, flavor, consistency, texture, temperature, and cooking time
- Ensure adherence to sanitation principles
