This position is located within the Food and Beverage Division of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department in the Navy Region Southwest. Job Requirements
- Knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages from a limited variety of liquor, soda, beer, and wine
- Knowledge of correct proportions and mixtures for preparing beverages
- Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve or seek assistance
- Ability to collect tabs or chits accurately and reconcile with quantities and prices
- No specific education required

- Knowledge of mixing and serving standard beverages
- Ability to recognize and handle intoxicated patrons
- Experience in customer service
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Job Duties
- Mix and serve a limited variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Serve pre-mixed beverages such as daiquiris
- Use knowledge of correct proportions and mixtures for beverage preparation
- Recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve issues or seek assistance
- Collect tabs or chits and reconcile with items dispensed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service
