Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- prior bartending experience preferred
- ability to operate bar equipment
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- availability to work flexible hours
- must adhere to safety and service protocols
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages limited to a few varieties and brands of liquor, soda, beer, and wine
- ability to serve pre-mixed beverages such as daiquiris
- knowledge of correct proportions and mixtures for beverage preparation
- ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve problems
- ability to collect tabs or chits accurately and reconcile with dispensed items
- strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Mix and serve a limited variety of alcoholic beverages
- mix and serve non-alcoholic beverages
- serve pre-mixed beverages such as daiquiris
- recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve issues or seek assistance
- collect tabs or chits and reconcile with quantities and prices
- maintain cleanliness and order of the bar area
- provide excellent customer service
