Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or GED
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License
  • strong guest service and interpersonal skills
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • experience as a sportsbook or mutuels writer or teller preferred
  • one year of guest service and cash or credit card processing experience preferred
  • bilingual skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Accurately write, verify, and issue payments for sports and horse racing wagers in compliance with company policies, state regulations, and federal gaming statutes
  • follow all procedures for the sale and payout of tickets
  • educate guests on wagering rules, procedures, betting lines, and odds
  • maintain and balance a cash bank throughout the shift, reconciling transactions at shift end
  • maintain work area cleanliness and ensure adequate inventory of supplies
  • address guest questions, concerns, or complaints, escalating as needed
  • maintain knowledge of sporting and horse racing events, property promotions, and offerings
  • follow company safety standards and prioritize workplace safety
  • stay current on industry developments, resources, and best practices through ongoing training
  • present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • provide excellent customer service and communication in all guest interactions
  • perform other related duties as assigned
