Job Requirements
- Experience leading music or movement-based programs with preschool or early elementary-aged children in camp, school, daycare, or community settings
- strong singing voice and sense of rhythm
- background in Music Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred
- familiarity with common early childhood songs, fingerplays, and classroom instruments
- ability to manage young groups with warmth, energy, and clarity
- current First Aid and CPR certification required (training available if needed)
- standing and sitting for long periods
- bending, lifting, pushing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stooping
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- reach at and above shoulder height
- adapt to frequent position changes
- hearing and speaking to exchange information
- use hands and fingers for manipulation and use of educational tools
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, and depth perception
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Design and lead interactive 40-minute music sessions for Pre-K to Grade 1 campers
- use age-appropriate teaching methods such as call-and-response songs, rhythm games, movement activities, and simple instruments
- manage classroom routines and camper behavior to foster a secure and engaging environment
- set up, sanitize, and maintain musical instruments and props
- collaborate with camp counselors and communicate camper observations to Division Leads
- contribute to camp spirit by supporting weekly themes, events, and gatherings through music
- serve as a positive role model by demonstrating enthusiasm, patience, and kindness
