Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of customer service or related experience
Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training certification or equivalent
Ability to work flexible hours including late nights
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds using proper techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, loud environment
Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer visa sponsorship

Job Qualifications

Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
Ability to work late hours
Flexible schedule
Working knowledge of cocktail tray service
Basic food service skills
Responsible alcohol service knowledge
Familiarity with drink recipes and garnishes
Proficient in point of sales systems
Minimum 3 years experience interacting positively with people
Tolerance of diverse cultures, music and art
Ability to manage intoxicated guests positively and safely
Preferred cash handling experience
Preferred ability to recognize valid IDs
Preferred experience in a live music environment

Job Duties

Anticipate and respond to guests' needs
Suggestively sell beverages and menu items
Take orders accurately
Answer guest questions and make recommendations
Communicate drink orders to bar via point of sales system
Deliver drinks and maneuver trays through crowds
Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating
Remove dirty glasses and dishes including lifting bus tubs up to 25lbs
Keep tables clean and wipe regularly
Clean spills and remove trash using proper lifting techniques
Maintain safety and sanitation standards
Follow housekeeping standards per policy
Keep current on standard operating procedures
Verify identification for guests under 30
Ensure responsible alcohol service and refuse service if necessary
Process payments via cash, credit card or travelers check
Handle comp and void checks as per policy
Assist other servers and staff
Work special events as scheduled
