Job Description
The White River Valley Museum and Mary Olson Farm are integral community resources situated in Auburn, Washington, dedicated to offering a wide array of educational programs tailored for both school children and the general public. These institutions serve as cultural and environmental learning centers, providing engaging experiences that span history, art, environmental science, and community heritage. Job Requirements
- BA in education, museum studies, history or related field
- minimum 1 year experience working in museums, education or related field with hands-on curriculum delivery
- minimum 1 year experience working with K - 8 grade students
- computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
- possession of a WA state driver’s license and ability to commute between Museum and Farm
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- general interpersonal and office protocol knowledge
- ability to engage with diverse communities
- superior time management and organizational skills
- ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- knowledge of state and national learning standards
- flexibility and reliability
- must be at least 21 years old
- availability to work evening and weekend programs as scheduled
- ability to operate ladder, small tools, and carry up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Lead Museum and Farm fieldtrips
- assist with fieldtrip guide training
- develop and implement youth and family programs including summer camps and family days
- maintain outreach kit, program, and fieldtrip supply inventories
- perform booking, billing, and scheduling for fieldtrip programs
- manage department records and databases
- provide general administrative support
