Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- high school diploma or equivalent
- culinary certification or equivalent combination of culinary training/work experience preferred
- experience in food preparation and equipment preferred
- related experience preferred
- ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
- availability to work extended hours and rotating schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- capability to safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
- ability to stand, reach at waist, and grasp constantly
- frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic materials
- occasional ability to walk, reach overhead, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms
- ability to demonstrate lifting of 55 lbs and team lift of 80+ lbs
- must follow safe lifting policy
Job Qualifications
- Culinary certification or equivalent culinary training/work experience preferred
- experience in food preparation and equipment preferred
- communication and interpersonal skills
- reading and writing skills
- ability to execute high-volume production
- understanding of nutritional values and ingredients
Job Duties
- Cuts, slices, dices, chops food for recipe preparation
- preps ingredients according to recipe specifications and SOPs
- prepackages condiments for prepared food items
- completes tasks at assigned work station
- assists in multiple cooking venues
- assists in technical areas and with catering orders as needed
- performs other duties as assigned
