Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays
- Previous cleaning experience in hospital or healthcare facility preferred
- Successful completion of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training if assigned to behavioral health environment within 90 days of hire
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Strong understanding of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must maintain TCI certification throughout employment
Job Qualifications

- Effective communication skills
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Demonstrated proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process
- Positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
Job Duties
- Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns
- Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards
- Practices proper methods of infection control in conjunction with cleaning procedures
- Demonstrates proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions
- Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition
- Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback
