Job Requirements
- Minimum seven years restaurant or food service management or supervisory experience
- minimum five years as Restaurant General Manager in full-service restaurant with bar
- experience managing multiple units highly desired
- proficiency in computer literacy including MS Office and POS
- ability to lead diverse teams and resolve conflicts
- expert knowledge in P and L management
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- associate’s degree or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum seven years in restaurant or food service management or supervisory capacity
- minimum five years in a Restaurant General Manager capacity in a full-service restaurant with bar environment
- experience as a Multi-Unit Restaurant Manager with oversight of General Managers preferred
- full service and quick service restaurant experience preferred
- culinary background desirable
- proficient level of computer literacy including MS Office and Point-of-Sale systems
- ability to interact at all levels including executives, union representatives, and diverse teams
- proven track record resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports
- expert level P and L financial skills with ability to teach and coach General Managers
- high school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree or equivalent coursework preferred
Job Duties
- Manage all front of house and kitchen activities
- supervise and evaluate General Managers’ performances through follow-up and feedback including disciplinary action
- ensure food quality and standards adherence, maintain recipe fidelity and portion control
- optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability
- recruit, train, and communicate with a team of Food Travel Experts
- develop, plan, and assign daily goals, tasks, and assignments
- implement and maintain guest service standards and brand specifications fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures as well as state health and sanitation standards
- maintain all merchandising standards, display presentations, signing standards and monitor inventory levels
- handle office management tasks such as management of funds and media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll
- assist in monitoring sales performance through sales reports analysis and comparison shopping
- address routine issues and escalate complex problems to higher management as necessary
