Job Requirements

  • Minimum seven years restaurant or food service management or supervisory experience
  • minimum five years as Restaurant General Manager in full-service restaurant with bar
  • experience managing multiple units highly desired
  • proficiency in computer literacy including MS Office and POS
  • ability to lead diverse teams and resolve conflicts
  • expert knowledge in P and L management
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • associate’s degree or equivalent preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum seven years in restaurant or food service management or supervisory capacity
  • minimum five years in a Restaurant General Manager capacity in a full-service restaurant with bar environment
  • experience as a Multi-Unit Restaurant Manager with oversight of General Managers preferred
  • full service and quick service restaurant experience preferred
  • culinary background desirable
  • proficient level of computer literacy including MS Office and Point-of-Sale systems
  • ability to interact at all levels including executives, union representatives, and diverse teams
  • proven track record resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports
  • expert level P and L financial skills with ability to teach and coach General Managers
  • high school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree or equivalent coursework preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage all front of house and kitchen activities
  • supervise and evaluate General Managers’ performances through follow-up and feedback including disciplinary action
  • ensure food quality and standards adherence, maintain recipe fidelity and portion control
  • optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability
  • recruit, train, and communicate with a team of Food Travel Experts
  • develop, plan, and assign daily goals, tasks, and assignments
  • implement and maintain guest service standards and brand specifications fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures as well as state health and sanitation standards
  • maintain all merchandising standards, display presentations, signing standards and monitor inventory levels
  • handle office management tasks such as management of funds and media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll
  • assist in monitoring sales performance through sales reports analysis and comparison shopping
  • address routine issues and escalate complex problems to higher management as necessary
