Job Requirements
- Documented multi-unit restaurant management experience
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- ability to work varied and rotating schedules including early mornings, peak hours, and late shifts
- excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- proficiency in reading and understanding menus, brand standards, and policy documents
- effective interpersonal and communication skills
- compliance with safety and health regulations
- ability to use company systems and technologies
- high school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of overall restaurant experience
- at least 3 years of concurrent multi-unit, multi-concept management experience for a small zone or 5 years for a large zone
- demonstrated team management and delegation skills
- knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, and operational standards
- ability to interpret financial and operational data
- experience with employee hiring, promotion, and termination
- proficiency with operational tools such as MIV, Crunch Time, and Kronos
- strong communication and leadership skills
- graduation from a food service management or culinary program is a plus
Job Duties
- Open and close restaurants ensuring all opening and closing checklist requirements are met
- schedule managers to maintain leadership presence during operational hours
- provide coaching and support to restaurant staff to achieve business goals
- hold general managers accountable for onboarding, offboarding, and compliance activities
- read and analyze financial and operational reports to monitor zone performance
- collaborate with senior leadership on decisions, strategies, and financial controls
- ensure product availability and oversee vendor relations
- maintain restaurant equipment and schedule repairs
- conduct and coordinate associate training and development
- implement marketing programs and promote employee recognition initiatives
- ensure compliance with all safety, sanitary, and health standards
- resolve customer and staff issues using discretion and judgment
- manage multiple restaurants or points-of-sale within the assigned zone
- promote diversity, inclusion, and engagement among restaurant teams
